Multiple Choice Question

Multiple choice is a simple, closed-ended question type that lets respondents to select one or multiple answers from a defined list of choices.

Creating a Multiple Choice Question

To add this question type:

  1. From the BUILDER section, click +Add button next to the Multiple Choice question type.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Enter multiple choice question.
  4. In the option fields, enter each answer choice.
  5. Click  to add another response if needed or click  to delete a response.
  6. Allow more than one answer for each question by using check boxes.
  7. Score each question by enabling the quiz mode.
  8. Add an “Other” answer option for comments.
  9. Configure any additional options and settings.
  10. Click Save.

Additional Options and Settings for Multiple Choice question type

Under the Options, Logic, Move and Copy tabs, you can make additional customization to your survey questions in the following ways: 

  • Options
    1.  Require an answer to a question.REQUIRE AN ANSWER SCREENSHOT
    2. Enable CSAT Calculation to measure your customers’ satisfaction on the services or products that you provide.
  • Logic – includes an option that moves respondents to a different question or page on the basis of their response to the current question. To enable skip logic, click here.
  • Move – this setting allows you to move a question to your desired position.MOVE SCREENSHOT
  • Copy – this setting allows you to make a copy of a certain question.COPY SCREENSHOT

If your question has a long list of answer choices, consider using the Dropdown question type instead.
