Managing Survey Collector Settings

Collectors are being used to send surveys and collect responses. Each collector type have different sets of settings that’s why they work differently. These settings control who can access your survey, how many times respondents the surveys can be taken and what they can see upon survey completion.

Accessing Collector Settings

To access the collector settings, go to the Collect Responses tab and click the collector’s name.

Collector Type Where to find the Settings
Email Finish the Step 1 of Compose Message and proceed to the Step 2 to see all the settings.
Web Link Once you’ve clicked the Web Link collector, you will see all the settings.
Social Media Once you’ve clicked the Social Media collector, you will see all the settings.
Offline Surveys Once you’ve clicked the Offline collector, you will see all the settings.
Web Embed Once you’ve clicked the Web Embed collector, you will see all the settings.

Setting Description
Multiple Responses This setting will identify a device as single device or allows the user to submit same survey multiple times as distinct user.
Response Editing Respondents can open the survey after they finished and can change the responses.
Anonymous Responses The system will not ask or track respondent’s identity.
Instant Results Respondents can see a summary of the survey upon completion.
Cutoff Date and Time Allows you to terminate a certain survey at given point of date and time.
Response Limits Allows you to set a certain response limit for your survey respondents once those many responses are received survey will automatically close.
IP Restrictions Allows you to define which IP addresses can access the survey or which cannot.
Password Protection Enables you to setup a password for your survey.
Custom Thank You Respondents can customize the Thank You message for every survey.
Custom Disqualification Define a disqualification message which will appear when response quota meets or in survey expiry events.
Survey End Page Define a custom ending, whether you want to restart the survey or want to close the survey window
Organization Name Your organization information which will appear if you specify to appear in certain places.
Facebook Sharing This will make a button for your survey respondents so that they can share your survey on their facebook wall.
