Adding videos to your survey can help you create your own customized question, insert a video to your survey design to provide further instructions to your respondents.
This option is available in Star Rating question type. You can add videos from various popular sites such as YouTube or Vimeo to be evaluated on a visual scale of stars, hearts, thumbs, or smilies.
Adding videos to your Survey:
- From the Design Survey tab.
- Select Builder.
- Click the +Add button next to the Star Rating question type.
- Under the Edit section.
- Enter your star rating question.
- Tick the box beside the “Embed Video” if you wish to use a video to be rated. (Check linked instructions below.)
- Click Save.
To add videos from popular sites:
Copy the embed code for your video. The embed code is a string of HTML that allows you to put a video directly into your survey.

Note: Sound clips are not supported at the moment, so we suggest to use soundcloud format instead.
